Top Tips for Window & Door Design

 ■      Keep your design simple, don't try to have it all.
■      Choose one style of window and door and repeat for a classy look  at an economical price
■      Keep the head heights of all units the same
■      Align door vision rails with the sills of windows to either side for a balanced look
■      If your architect or designer insists on using a type of door or window you dislike - remind them who is paying the bill !
■      Check out our glass chart for relevant glass properties - anti-fade, noise control etc

■      Check out our page on tinted Glass Click here for tinted glass information

         Cleaning and maintenance

■       "Low maintenance" does not mean "No maintenance". For best results
wash down the frames with warm soapy water when you wash your windows.
( Minimum 3 or 4 times a year - you would wash your car that often! )

■       Don't forget to wash the handles at the same time to prevent corrosion.
■       To treat corroded sash handles, remove, soak in vinegar overnight.
Scrub with an old toothbrush, they should come up good as new.

■       Never use abrasive cleaning products on toughened glass - they will scratch!
We have heavy-duty glass cleaning products available to do the job safely.

■       Never polish titanium entry door handles - it will remove the protective coating
